1. Data controller
The controller of your personal data is the company with the corporate name “DOCTORSATHOME – ΙΔΙΩΤΙΚΟ ΙΑΤΡΕΙΟ – ΙΔΙΩΤΙΚΟ ΠΟΛΥΙΑΤΡΕΙΟ ΙΔΙΩΤΙΚΗ ΚΕΦΑΛΑΙΟΥΧΙΚΗ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΑ” and trade name “DOCTORSATHOME”, with its registered office at Pavlou Mela 18, Nikaia 18454, General Commercial Registry (GEMI) number 191317309000 and Tax Identification Number (AFM) 803174056 (hereinafter “the Company”, “we”).

2. What data we collect
- When you call us or send us a message (phone, email, contact form): full name, telephone number, address for the visit, your request and, where necessary to provide the service, information about your state of health.
- During the medical visit: the health data necessary for diagnosis, treatment and prescribing, as well as the details required to issue a receipt or invoice (AFM tax number, AMKA social security number where required).
- When you visit the website: IP address, device and browser type, pages you visited and cookie data, as described in section 6.
3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis
- Organising and carrying out the medical visit at home (coordination, sending a doctor, communicating with you): performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Health data: processing for the purposes of medical diagnosis and the provision of healthcare by professionals subject to medical confidentiality, Article 9(2)(h) GDPR and Article 22 of Law 4624/2019, in conjunction with the Code of Medical Ethics (Law 3418/2005).
- Issuing receipts and invoices, and keeping records: legal obligation, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Answering enquiries and improving our services: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Statistics and advertising cookies: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006.
4. Who has access to your data
- The affiliated doctors and nurses who carry out the visit, solely for that purpose.
- Providers acting on our behalf as processors (website hosting, telephone switchboard, email services, accounting support), who are contractually bound to confidentiality and security.
- Public authorities, where required by law (e.g. IDIKA for electronic prescribing, tax authorities).
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for their own advertising purposes.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers of the website’s tools (e.g. Google) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (EU‑US Data Privacy Framework) or on the Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Cookies and third-party tools
The website uses strictly necessary cookies for its operation and, only with your consent through the relevant banner, statistics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager). You can change your preferences at any time in the website’s cookie settings or in your browser. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
7. How long we keep the data
- Medical records: for ten (10) years from the last visit, in accordance with Article 14 of Law 3418/2005.
- Tax documents: for the period set by tax legislation.
- Contact requests that did not lead to a visit: up to twelve (12) months.
- Cookie data: for the period stated in the cookie banner for each category.
8. Your rights
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise these rights, contact info@doctorsathome.gr. We will reply within one (1) month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Kifisias Avenue 1‑3, 115 23 Athens, www.dpa.gr).
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (HTTPS connection encryption, restricted access, confidentiality undertakings by our staff and associates) to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration.
10. Minors
For visits to minors, the data are provided by the parent or the person exercising parental responsibility, who also consents to the processing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version in force at any given time is posted on this page, with the date of the last update.
